Miss Ginger has had sneezes that produced more wind and moisture than Tropical Storm Eduoard. The news media made asses of themselves again, warning people to stay inside, and gas up their cars, etc. It was ludicrous! I saw one scene where the guy on camera was talking about the wind and rain, and there was a tree behind him and the leaves weren't even wiggling! One nice effect was that there was no traffic on the freeways this morning! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't even bad enough to attract Weather Channel hottie Jim Cantore into town!
The Houston Chronicle even had a funny blog where they asked people to send in photos of "storm damage" with funny captions. This was my favorite:
"Nearly two thirds of Galveston's trash bins have been blown over by the wrath and the fury of Edouard!"
