Still Storming

Miss Ginger fell asleep about an hour or 2 ago while it was still dark, and now that she has awakened it’s daylight.  Even though she only slept an hour, the transition to daylight makes her body feel like she’s had more sleep than she has.

It’s still windy and rainy.  It’s been storming for 7 solid hours, and from the looks of the radar we are about 2/3 of the way through.  Miss G snuck out onto the front porch to snap a pic for you. 

 

 

 This is from the front porch looking across the street.  The drops are actual raindrops frozen by the camera’s flash- that’s how thick it is raining.  You can see the street is flooded and water is coming into the yard.  The branch in the water shows where the curb is.  It appears to be stuck in the storm drain.  Miss G will send Boy G out to clear it when it seems safe, but certainly that isn’t now!  More later!
