Miss Ginger Grant will appear in all her FABULOUS splendour tomorrow night at Tony's Corner Pocket in a show sponsored by ICOH as a direct benefit for the Krewe of Olympus- Texas, Inc. Miss G refers to ICOH
as the "renegade court" because they are not affiliated with the International Court System at all.
(ERSICSS is Houston's recognized Imperial Court). ICOH has a group of loyal members who do things their way as they see fit, and Miss G has come to respect that as a plausible option for those who wish to do it! And while their "Enthronement" is typically boycotted by the Imperial Courts, and they are not particularly welcomed at the ICS "Coronations", from time to time the members from the disparate groups do come together to show their support for a group or cause they both share as important. Both groups are truly friends of the Krewe of Olympus- Texas, Inc., so hopefully lots of people from both sides of the fence will come out tomorrow night (8pm) to support Ball 39 and its designated beneficiaries! Sounds fun--wish we could be there! We've never been to Mardi Gras and experienced the various Krewe parades, but a friend gave us a necklace from the Krewe of Orpheus, and it's hanging on our ceiling fan along with other NOLA beads. Isn't Orpheus the one that Harry Connick, Jr. is in? We love Harry!
