Here You Come Again, Part II

This is becoming "like Deja Vu all over again" only in reverse.  Only this time instead of being evicted from New Orleans because they are getting a dangerous hurricane,  I am being "encouraged" to leave New Orleans to ensure I can get home before a hurricane closes my home airport.

While Miss Ginger  can think of worse things to happen than to be stuck in NEW ORLEANS while a hurricane threatens her home,  she really wants the opportunity to protect her home and pets from harm.  So, she's on a 20 minute hold with Continental Airlines to try to reschedule my flight.  Miss Ginger used to ADORE Continental,  but since this whole fuel thing they suck as much as all the others.  Tough economy: the great equalizer!

Speaking of pets,  heres's a FREAKY thing!!!! Last nighy Miss G dreamt that she looked out the back window to the patio and Nog was sleeping on the wrought iron table like he always does,  but there was another black cat sleeping on the table as well.  In the dream I could tell Nog was on the right,  but the other cat looked just like him,  and its fur frizzed to brown in the sunlight just like Nog's does.

Well,  this morning,  when Miss Ginger checked in with the Cat Whisperer,  Miss SonnaMae,  who takes care of the babies when G travels,  she texted  and said:  there's 2 black cats in the back yard:  I can't tell which one is Nog!   ISN'T THAT FREAKY!!!!  Miss Ginger has ESPN with her kitties!

Anyway,  tonight Miss Ginger and Miss Rosamaria decided to make a nigh on the town since they will have to cut the trip short.  They had a delish din din at Rio Mar in the Warehouse District,  then decided to head over to the French Quarter to crash the party the Lakeside crew was throwing for their management team at Cat's Meow on Bourbon.  Straight people party real ugly when they get drunk.

Just got through to Continental to discover the my bosses admin, Erichnotjerry,  already switched my flight to a 3:09 departure tomorrow.  So Miss G is headed back to H-towh tomorrow to ride out the storm in style!  She promises lots of pictures and video if she can figure out how to post it!   Love to all!

That IS a little spooky with your kitties...sounds like YOU are the Cat Whisperer!

Sounds like a great night in NOLA, and I hope you make it home with no problems. Be safe, hon!

Strange, yet somehow I think we have this internal radar when it comes to our pets. I'm so sorry to hear your getting tugged back and forth like crazy with these storms. (Hugs)Indigo
