Big thanks to David Dust and his readers for their kind wishes for the folks on the Gulf Coast. His blog is one of my favorites because it is witty, good hearted, and has lots of hot pictures of curte menses. What else can I say?
So, the rescue workers have made it to Bolivar Peninsula and guess what they have discovered?! A TIGER escaped during the hurricane and is roaming the island. The last time he was fed by his keeper was Thursday. I can't pass up the opportunity for a one-liner: that's one way to reduce overcrowding at the morgue! Check out the deets at chron.com.

Love the fish in the fence picture :o)
Hope that life for those impacted will start to get back to some semblance of normal soon.

Oh my goodness those pictures are amazing. All those fish, that coffin......I guess you never really think about all the things that happen with flood waters. Thank you for sharing the pics. I am glad that you are safe. Linda
It is like horror movie stills. How terrible can it be- you have shown us. I can't believe those fish and the coffin. The landscape at the beach is devastating. You have survived a ordeal that we only see through the news. Love and huggles, Dannelle
